Edwin Hensley Director - US Construction Services, HFHI
Mr. Hensley has been engaged with the Habitat mission since 2002, starting as a volunteer and becoming an affiliate board member in 2014. He is a Home Energy Rating System Certified (HERS) Rater, an Accredited National Green Building Standards (NGBS) Verifier, IBHS FORTIFIED Evaluator, Licensed Residential Building Energy Analyst, and a BZA Board Member. He has experience in training builders to meet the requirements of many green building programs, engineering requirements, and design improvements, as well as in conducting thousands of building inspections. He works as the Director for the U.S. Construction department for Habitat for Humanity International-supporting local Habitat affiliates across 1000+ U.S. communities with guidance and resources to reduce risk, improve construction quality, and lower production cost.
